hi guys

how do you enter a hyperlink onto a post, rather than pastin ghte address can we put a word like "here" with the link on word?

Hi trevor,
You can use BBCode to input your URL (just click the URL button in the posting screen).

You can see Help on the formats available by clicking the BBCode link (when posting topics you can find it under the Smilies where it says BBCode is ON).

The BBCode format I think you want so you can enter text which is different to the URL, is like so....

[url=http://www.phpbb.com/]Visit phpBB![/url]

whereas the quick way (without other text) is usually to enter code like.....

[url]http://www.phpbb.com/[/url]
